Ayon sa Malakanyang, tinalaga na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang bagong director-general ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) si Gerald Bantag na regional director ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Mimaropa.
