P1.8 BILLION THE NEWLY RENOVATED MACTAN-CEBU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 1
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte leads the unveiling of marker of the newly renovated Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminal 1 in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on January 19, 2020.
The renovation of the said terminal started in July 2018 following the completion of the MCIA Terminal 2. The PhP1.8 billion project aims to solve the airport’s congestion and improve the efficiency of its operation.
Around 11.8 million passengers would benefit from the renovation of the MCIA Terminal 1 and more domestic flights via Cebu shall be opened.
