GOOD JOB! DUTERTE ADMIN. GETS NEW RECORD-HIGH SATISFACTION RATING "EXCELLENT" +72% FOR 2019.
The Duterte administration received an “excellent” satisfaction rating in the latest survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The +72 rating (81% satisfied minus 9% dissatisfied), classified by SWS as excellent, is 6 points above the very good +66 in December 2018, and 2 points above its previous record of excellent +70 in December 2017.
Net satisfaction ratings of the Duterte Administration were excellent on one subject, very good on two subjects, good on seven subjects, and moderate on one subject.
The ratings are:
- Helping the poor (+72, excellent)
- Reconstructing Marawi City (+58, very good)
- Fighting terrorism (+58, very good)
- Fighting crimes (+48, good)
- Reconciling with communist rebels (a new record-high +45, good)
- Reconciling with Muslim rebels (+44, good)
- Eradicating graft and corruption (+41, good)
- Foreign relations (+41, good)
- Defending Philippine sovereignty in the West Philippines Sea (+40, good)
- Ensuring that no family will ever be hungry (+37, good)
- Fighting inflation (+22, moderate)
The survey respondents were asked: “Sa pangkalahatan, gaano po kayo nasisiyahan o hindi nasisiyahan sa kasalukuyang administrasyong nasyonal? Kayo po ba ay LUBOS NA NASISIYAHAN, MEDYO NASISIYAHAN, HINDI TIYAK KUNG NASISIYAHAN O HINDI, MEDYO HINDI NASISIYAHAN, o LUBOS NA HINDI NASISIYAHAN? [On the overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the present national administration? Are you VERY SATISFIED, SOMEWHAT SATISFIED, UNDECIDED IF SATISFIED OR NOT, SOMEWHAT DISSATISFIED, or VERY DISSATISFIED?]”
The March 2019 survey used interviews of 1,440 adults aged 18 years old and above nationwide. There were 360 respondents each in Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
