TATAK DUTERTE! ANG MGA BAGONG PABAHAY SA MARAWI CITY NAPAKAGANDA!
We haven't heard anything from the progress of Marawi Rehabilitation. Our government is working silently but it does not mean we will not recognize their effort.
712 housing are completed and 500 displaced families moved in to transitory shelters built by the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) through the National Housing Authority (NHA).
One of the beneficiaries is the Family of Alaisa, she thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for providing them a more comfortable home and environment while the rehabilitation of their permanent houses is still ongoing.
“We are happy because the president has helped us. I hope that this is the start of a better life for us. I hope that we will be safer here,” Alaisa said.
After receiving the key to their new home, the Marawi City Health Office gave each household toiletries and will be receiving another relief assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of Health.
Located in Barangay Boganga, a total of 1,500 transitional shelters would be constructed in a land area of 15.95 hectares.
Each housing unit has a floor area of 24 square-meters with partitions, kitchen sink, restroom, and a rainwater catchment.
A technical working group spearheaded by the local government of Marawi identified the beneficiaries for these shelters. The beneficiaries are coming from the 24 barangays in the most affected area (MAA) of this war-torn city.
TFBM continues to expedite the construction of transitory shelters to free the displaced families from crowded evacuation centers.
Another 1,000 housing units are being constructed in Barangay Rorogagus, Marawi City.
