SINAKSIHAN ! Limang kasunduan ang nilagdaan ng Pilipinas at Sri Lanka sa makasaysayang pagbisita ni Sri Lankan Pres. Maithripala Sirisena sa bansa.
Mas malalim na relasyon at kooperasyon ang hangad nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena. Ito ang inihayag ng dalawang lider sa expanded bilateral meeting sa Malacañang kasunod ng state visit ng Sri Lanka president ngayong Miyerkoles.
“We are honored to have the very first Sri Lankan President serving as a head of state and government to visit the Philippines. In the last few years, our bilateral engagement has significantly broadened. There are however remain much room for growth, so now let us provide a much needed direction to significantly expand and deepen cooperation between two countries, ” anang Pangulo.
“Warm greetings from the government and people of Sri Lanka and myself to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the government and friendly people of the Philippines. This historic state visit will lead to stronger bonds of friendship, enhance mutual understanding and reinvigorate cooperation, for the benefit of our two peoples. Long live Sri Lanka-Philippines friendship!,” ani President Sirisena.
Limang kasunduan ang nilagdaan ng Pilipinas at Sri Lanka sa makasaysayang pagbisita ni Sri Lankan Pres. Maithripala Sirisena sa bansa. Kasama sa pinirmahang kasundo-an ay ang depensya, agricultura, higher education, turismo at scientific agricultural research. Ayon kay pangulong Duterte kaylangang mag tulungan ang dalawang bansa sa mga problema na kapwa dinaranas ng dalawang bansa.
