Teri Marina Colmares, 22, a 2018 Binibining Cebu candidate representing Carmen town, is placed behind bars on Dec. 15, 2018 after her arrest for allegedly peddling party drugs and high-grade marijuana.

Police Station 9 Drug Enforcement Unit led by PSINSP DEXTER B BASIRGO conducted Buy-bust Operation to subject "Teri" at Escario St., Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City around 2:00 in the morning, December 15, 2018.

The operation yielded to the arrest of subject, TERI MARINA SILVA COLMENARES, 22 years old who resides in Echavez St., Brgy. Zapatera, Cebu City.

Drug Suspect was arrested after he handed two (2) self sealing transparent plastic packs containing dried fruiting tops to the Police Officer who post as poseur-buyer

"Pagdakop wala g’yud siya mitingog pero ganina nakastorya nako ang iyang abogado, niingon nga gikan daw to sa uyab sa babaye. Pero siya man g’yud ang atong naka-transaction,” Basirgo explained.

Confiscated from the drug suspect are a total of nine (9) self-sealing transparent plastic packs of dried fruiting tops or known as "Kush Weeds" with an estimated weight of 60 grams with street value worth of Php 90,000.00.

"Mura ra ni siya og papel nga gamay unya ipa-melt sa dila. Mas sipa pa ni siya sa marijuana dried leaves," he said.

The suspect was read and informed of her constitutional rights before she was brought to the station for proper profiling and disposition and will be filed a case in court for Violation of RA 9165.
